Oaths of Allegiance - A Biographical Profile of the Head of Stat

The countries of the entire English speaking Caribbean have had a long period of well established British Colonial rule, administered by Governors sent by the Colonial Office in London. With new windsof polotical change blowing over the last days of the British Empire, each country throughout the Caribbean region achieved its own Independence, some from 1962 as in the case of Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago to more recently, St Kitts & Nevis in 1983.

After Independence, these newly created Sovereign States had to adopt their own Emblems of Nationhood and chart their respective polotical destinies. A new nation must also have capable individuals to steer the Ship of State.
